The singer, who already has four-year-old son Egypt Daoud with her hubby, gave birth to Genesis Ali Dean at 1.52am on Saturday morning.
The 33-year-old star and the music produced announced the news via their Instagram profiles on Sunday, writing:
"The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!! we are so grateful!! #blessings!!"
The tot weighed in at six pounds, five ounces, according to PEOPLE.com.
Alicia felt energetic throughout her pregnancy and recently admitted her husband wanted her to slow down. She said: "I feel really good. My husband was just saying, he was like, 'Baby, I really need you to like get some rest,' because I'm just invigorated. I'm just moved." The singer also previously revealed Egypt was "super excited" about the idea of having a sibling. She said:
"I think he's super excited because he's not going to be the youngest anymore. He's always kissing my belly."
Rapper Swizz who also has three other children, Prince Nasir, 14, Kasseem Jr., seven, and Nicole, six, from previous relationships - also recently said:
"I am very excited about having another child. "I now have a bigger purpose in life, I love giving back to my children."
