'Avatar 2' Delayed Until 2017 by James Cameron

We won't be getting the first Avatar sequel on its originally scheduled release date as promised. Due 2 the ambitious nature of the project, dir. James Cameron has pushed the movie back by a year,so that additional work can be done on the screenplay. We were supposed to see Avatar 2 hit screens xmas 2016.Now, we won't see it until Dec of 2017,which sets up Avatar 3 for 2018 & Avatar 4 for 2019.

New 'Spider-Man' to Be Introduced in 'Avengers 3'?

Latino-Review reports that the deal (between Sony and Marvel's 'Spider-
Man' to bring Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe) has been finalized, and, while Spider-Man won't be seen in Captain America: Civil War, the beloved superhero will reportedly make his Marvel Studios debut in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.

Ghanaian Socialite Caught with Cocaine Worth $5M at London Airport, Sentenced To 8 Years imprisonment

Nayele Ametefe, aka Ruby Adu Gyamfi, the Ghanaian woman in the thick of the 12.5kg cocaine saga that rocked the nation a few months ago has been sentenced to eight years and eight months imprisonment by a British court. 

The 32-year-old is believed to have used the VVIP Lounge of Ghana’s only international airport – Kotoka – in the capital Accra to smuggle the prohibited substance outside the shores of the West African country via a British Airways flight.

According to preliminary investigations, she was aided by three Ghanaian security and foreign affairs officials who are also standing trial in Ghana.

According to our reporters in court, the street value of the cocaine carried by Nayele was approximately 1.9 million Pounds. She was reported to have had on her $23, 000 and 6000 Pounds at the time of her arrest.

Our reporter, Frank Davies said Nayele appeared well dressed in court, dressed in a jumper with a black pair of trousers to match and appeared very calm.

According to GhanaWeb, her lawyer, she is not likely to return to Ghana after her jail term and could head to Austria. 

Singer FKA Twigs and Tinashe Goes Nu de For V Magazine [PHOTOS]

Good news for all males, drooling over Tinashe. The 21-year-old posed for her first fashion magazine cover. And here’s the kicker… She is top less. The gorgeous “2 On” singer appears on one of the four January covers of V Magazine.
Tinashe and FKA Twigs will  grace the cover of V Magazine's new music issue that's out Jan. 15, and are going topl ess for it.

Tinashe posted the image to her Instagram Monday, saying she was "honored" to have her first fashion cover as well as be interviewed by Patti LaBelle.

The other two covers of the magazine are given to Sam Smith and Jessie Ware.

The magazine describes FKA Twigs as ‘The Vision’, Sam Smith as ‘The Voice’, Tinashe as ‘The Vixen’ and Jessie Ware as ‘The Vibe’.

According to the magazine, V Champions Sam Smith, FKA Twigs, Jessie Ware, and Tinashe as the new sounds of Soul in “The Music Issue” with features and surprises from the Industry’s biggest names.

Akwa Ibom unity choir breaks Guinness world record

The Akwa Ibom State choral group has broken the world record for the largest number of Christmas carol singers in the world.

The unity choir, a 25,272 man-choral group broke the record during a concert in the Uyo Township Stadium on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with Guinness World Records representatives in attendance.

Making the announcement, Guinness World Records adjudicator, Liz Smith,congratulated the choir and said

“It is now time to reveal the report of the official attempt to break the Guinness World Record of the largest group of carol singers.
Our team of highly trained record specialists have reached a decision. The record to beat was 15,674.

I can now confirm that your attempt to break the record has been successful. Congratulations on receiving a new Guinness World Records Title.

The title of the largest group of carol singers has been achieved by Godswill Akpabio Unity Choir. You are officially amazing.”
The former record was held by a group called CENTI in Bogota, Columbia. They had 15,674 carol singers in (December 15, 2013)

A Chinese couple who can't afford live-saving medical treatment for their sick daughter are trying to sell their son on the street to raise money for her chemotherapy.
Meng Xiangyan, 29, said that with certain death awaiting their daughter unless she receives medical treatment, she and her husband were prepared to sell their daughter's twin brother to a good home so that both would have a chance of life.

According to Dailymail,Pictures show her standing on Weihai Road in Qingdao, in China's eastern Shandong province, with a placard offering to sell him to the highest bidder.

She said:

'Up until a year ago we had a wonderful family and we thought we had everything we could need with a wonderful little boy and a wonderful little girl who are twins.
'But all that changed when my daughter was diagnosed as suffering from leukemia in August of last year and we spent all of our savings and borrowed everything we could from friends and relatives.It still wasn't enough, and now we are hoping to raise cash from the sale of our son.'

Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine sued over Beats Headphones

Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine are being sued by a former business partner who co-designed their Beats headphone range.
BBC reports that Noel Lee, whose firm Monster helped launch Beats by Dre in 2008, says his company was betrayed and its technology "pirated".

He alleges he "lost millions" after Dre and Iovine "improperly took control" of Beats through a "sham" transaction.
After severing ties with Monster, Beats was purchased by Apple for $3 billion (£1.9 billion).

In legal papers filed in California, Lee alleges rap producer Dr Dre was barely involved in creating the headphones that carried his name.

But the range quickly became a highly desirable brand with celebrities and music fans, and Dre's endorsement was key to its success.

When the firm was sold to mobile phone manufacturer HTC in 2012, Dre and Iovine made $100m (£66m) each, Forbes estimated.

But Lee claims the deal forced him to cut his share in the company from 5% to 1.25%. He says he then had no other option but to sell his remaining stake for $5.5m (£3.6m) near the end of 2013.

His legal case describes the HTC deal as "fraudulent" and "a sham" intended to shift ownership of Beats to Dre and Iovine.

HTC later sold its shares back to the Beats.

Lee says if he'd still had his 1.25% stake, he would have received more than $30m (£19.8m) in the Apple deal.

His original 5% stake would have been worth around $150m (£99m).

Nigerian model and beauty pageant winner Esther Kanu has passed on, aged 24. According to reports, Esther passed away yesterday, Wednesday, January 7, 2015.

She had suddenly slumped and was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. Desmond Agboola, the Director of Queen Of Aso Nigeria beauty confirmed the sad news when contacted.
